Out doors Edacation

WALT sail an optimist yacht 

On Thursday my class went to Pandora pound when we got thire we played on the play ground 

After that we got dressed and set up the sail. My buddy was Cody we had to set up the optimist 

hatch our salf. When you want to go fast you go on angels to make your yacht go fast. Most of the class had race to win a chocolate bar I an Cody came 2nd. Cody and I were doing water burn outs. At the end we were a load to capsize the yacht

And after fitness we have a big big drying of water. My favourite game was the card game Missis Karan had to pull out cards and if it seid 3 we will have to do 3 push ups.

For reading we read galactic kiwi. We read the story and then we had to fill in the gaps with a word from the top. then we check it to make sense.

The average temperature is 16.2

To find the average temperature for these five days I have to add all of the temperature together. The total of all temperature =81.the next step is to divide the toatal by the numbers of days 16.2

We research facts about the Moa.

I used Docs to present my facts. What a I found interesting was  Moa were  3.6 m in height.

Moa reached about 3.6 m in height with neck outstretched, and weighed about 230 kg.

 Small species of moa were about the size of a turkey, but the largest could have reached more than 3m in height with its neck fully stretched.

Moa were large  birds that lived  in New Zealand. They became extinct less than 600 years ago.

My reading workshop; Narrative L2

CdLast term and for 2 weeks of Term I have been learning about " inference " question. Inference question are questions where the answer is not written in the story.

We have to make links from our reading to answer the question. 

Here are examples that yust have made up.

Tama was out side with the ovel ball it is a verey nice Saturday.

1 Was tama playing rugby.                                      How do you know that?

  Yes because because the ball is ovel.

2  was he playing with the ball                                How do you know that?

What I learn that you can't fold any paper more than 7 times.

We are leaning to write a formal letter.

We wrote to the the Hasting district council and we told them our opinion about the changing speed limit from Hastings to Clive.

The speed limit was begging changed back to 100kp from 80kph. I agree because if your parents are late the can get to work on time safely.
